Year-End Impact 2024
At Bethel Brandon, we are excited to be wrapping up 2024 with another Year-End IMPACT giving focus. We are excited that we can again focus on extending the love and compassion of Jesus Christ to our neighbours – our city, our country and the mission fields abroad. We’re continuing to Be-the-light, Be-the-link, Be-the-love, and Be-the-life! What better way to end the year than to make a difference in the lives of others and build the Kingdom of God?
We have prayerfully selected a few ways we believe we can make a spiritual investment in missions, and after that, by investing in the effectiveness of our own ministry plan here at Bethel Brandon.
This year our focus will be:
- Global Missions Project – Pastor Firmin in Africa: $5,000
One of our missionaries in Guinea Africa is needing assistance to complete a fence project. Their church and school is next to a public market which attracts large crowds every week and the traffic has gotten out of control, and become a safety issue for their church members. The cost for the current phase of construction for this fence is about $5,000 Canadian. Gifts to this project will help our missionary continue building their fence project. - Bethel Resource Class Equipment: $1,000
Bethel recently started a Resource Class on Sunday mornings for children with special needs who would benefit from a quieter learning environment with more individual attention. A number of volunteers have stepped forward to provide this class; and it would benefit them greatly to have sensory toys and equipment suited to the children’s needs. Funds donated to this project will help us purchase needed items such as sensory swing, wicker chair, sensory toys, etc. - Operational Budget: $45,000
This fund is vital for us to serve our church and community with excellence, and includes staff salaries, building improvements, curriculum and supplies for our children and youth programs, cleaning supplies, and the ever-increasing cost of utilities.

We would be remiss if we didn’t give you a brief update of what we have accomplished so far this year! Through your giving, we have been able to bless so many. We had record attendance for our community events this year – the Water Fight alone had nearly 700 people in attendance. We continue to support local and international missionaries. We continue to host PD Day Camps for families in our community. Bethel’s programs for all ages are continually growing. Many of our youth attend the weekly discipleship program (DMT) which equips students for ministry to children and youth. You’ll see many putting their training into action every Sunday here at Bethel!
