Each of us has a Social Platform that we like the best. Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, Twitter and the list goes on. To better connect with you where you are online, we are premiering our services on Facebook, Youtube and our website.
We have also added a 9:00 a.m. service time on the website for people who might want to "get to church" earlier. We are also experimenting with times and platforms to get a sense of what works best for those who visit us online and our church family.
I know it says "Livestream" on the website, but we still are not doing a "true" Livestream. It is "live" in the sense that we can chat and comment in real-time, just like on youtube and Facebook. We are limited by our website host to the name of our Livestream page.
There are two main reasons for not doing a "true" Livestream. One, we believe this allows us to use the equipment we do have to produce a better quality experience for you, our Bethel Family, and those who visit us online. Second, we don't have the right equipment to do it well. It involves different cameras, video switchers and more. That equipment is also difficult to acquire right now because of the increased demand and decreased ability of manufacturers to make it during a pandemic.
Here are the current ways you can join a Bethel Brandon online service.
Right here on the website: www.bethelbrandon.ca/live at 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
Facebook at 10:25 a.m.
Youtube at 10:30 a.m.
I am sure you noticed some differences in the times. We are limited on Youtube when we can schedule the Premier time. We have also shortened the countdown to honour the time of those who visit us online and yours.
Missed a service? Don't worry, you can watch them later on Facebook and Youtube. Only want to watch the message? You can watch them here.
Thank you for your help and patience as we continue to increase our presence online and experiment a little to see what works best.
