It's estimated that the need for school supplies is as high as 80% in some areas of the community this year.
We would like to collect one of the lesser donated but still needed items on the school supply list this year, cloth pencil cases.
Our goal is to collect 100 pencil cases to help Be-the-light in our community. Preferably the ones that can hook onto a binder. So just go to your local school supply store, pick one up, and drop it off here at Bethel Brandon (440 Richmond Ave.).
If you prefer to donate towards the School Supply Drive, just visit www.bethelbrandon.ca/donate and mark your donation "School Supply Drive."
We will, of course, accept any school supplies donated and get them to the United Way's "Tools for Schools" supply drive.
