I had suffered for many years with problems with my knee. After many doctor visits I was referred to a specialist and was examined. They discovered that I was suffering from a torn meniscus and the doctor said that I would need surgery to help ease my pain but that even with surgery it would never be 100% again. I went to a church service where one of Bethel's Pastors was ministering and during the ministry time the Pastor said that there was somone in the crowd who had a problem with their right knee and that God wanted to heal it. I quickly put my hand up and received prayer. I could feel heat and tingling in my body as they prayed for me. I was schedlueld for a pre-op visit with my specialist the following week. When the specialist checked my knee he was amazed and said it looks like I won't be needing surgery after all. The torn meniscus was completely healed and I've been pain free and healed since.
My situation started near the end of Dec.2014. I developed a high fever that lasted four days. I was feeling well enough to go to our family Christmas dinner on Jan.1,2015. Before the end of that day I broke out in a rash (hives) which covered my whole body by the next day. I went to the doctor in Killarney and he prescribes:Prednisone,Zantac and Benadryl. Before I finished the medication a tremor began in my head and right arm, I was very weak and tired.
At the beginning of February I had a short reprieve as my tremors suddenly stopped. Two days later my sister Kay took ill and ended up in Winnipeg St. Boniface hospital. She was diagnosed with a heart problem, which would require a valve replacement at a later date.Within a week Ideveloped more hives and more medication and the tremors started again.By the middle of March my doctor in Killarney referred me to a neurologist in Brandon (which I didn't see until August)
In the meantime my tremors became more violent where my leg or arm would go into a type of a spasm. Some part of my body was always in motion. There were severaltimes I would be laying down and my body would shake.Iwould be suspended by my feet and head my rigid body would be literally raised and shaking. This was very frightening.
It was hard for me to go out in public as I would try and controlmy tremors which only made them worse. I would spend most of my time in bed each day because I was so tried from my body shaking. My husband did most of the cooking and Kay helped out with the house work. Whenever I went out to anything the next day Ispent in bed,too tired to move.
I was prayed for by my church family,by my family many times, also at family camp and our small group. I was blessed at these times but not healed.
In the mean time I had two cataract operations and saw the neurologist in Brandon on August 20,2015 only to have him tellme Ineeded to see a different specialist in Winnipeg at the Deer Lodge Hospital. I saw the him in Winnipeg on November 16th ,2015. He was the first one to diagnosed me and called it a FunctionalTremor, but he wanted to discuss it with another doctor which I was to see February 4th 2016.
Our first Grandson was getting married in St.Thomas,Ontario on January 2nd 2016. We really wanted to go and did go with the blessing of my doctor and some relaxing medication.
We knew about the new church start in Wawanesa and decided to attend January 10th, 2016. Pastor Cal Young spoke that morning on Faith which made me feel a little uneasy. Where was my Faith? WHY wasn't I healed? They had communion that morning. As the emblems were being served I had a hard time picking up the juice glass as my hand was trembling as usual. While waiting on the rest to be served Ispilled some juice. Looking at my clothes to see where I had spilled it, I realized it was only on my hands. Immediately I realized that the juice is a type of Jesus blood, shed for my salvation and healing. I couldn't wait for Pastor Cal to call any one forward for prayer. He prayed for me holding my hands in his and we both were shaking. I returned to my chair upset as I was still shaking. As I sat down I said to myself 'HAND in Jesus Name stop it.Immediately my body stopped shaking. At first Iwas amazed but then realized what had happenedI Praise God I am free from a disease that had controlled me for a whole year. God does answer pray in his own time and we are blessed. Praise God
Our 7 year old daughter had struggled with absorbing & digesting certain foods. This had been the case ever since foods were introduced to her as a baby. Over the past year or so, we found moderate success by eliminating wheat, barley, rye flours (those that contain gluten). Sometimes we would almost forget that she had a sensitivity, because she had gone so long without any issues, that we would forget and order a regular pasta meal in a restaurant, or buy a treat from the bakery (etc) only to have the issues resurface again sending her right back into the bathroom or with cramps. This didn't always happen right away, sometimes the reaction would come the following day. Then during a Sunday night's service, one of the Pastors had a word of knowledge about the Lord wanting to heal stomach issues. I don't remember him being very specific, but I turned to my daughter and said, "Put your hand up! This is for you!" After the service, we went home and the following day I laughed because we had nothing in our home (freezer, fridge, cupboards or otherwise) to "test" her healing. The following day I made a point of buying freshly baked hambuger buns for supper. Those didn't cause any issue that evening. We had cereal the following morning. We had sandwiches, muffins, and many baked good that week without a single issue. We are many weeks past that Sunday service now and she is still healed and eating whatever she wants without issue. Thank you Jesus!
During one of our Sunday evening services, through a word of knowledge, a young lady, who suffered severe wrist pain for 12 years as a result of carpal tunnel, was instantly healed when the word was delivered. She had been to multiple doctors and had been told that she was going to have to live with her condition, as there was nothing further they could do for her.
